UpBeat Barre classes incorporate movements from Pilates, Yoga, and Strength Training (yup - that means weights). Don't be fooled however, in a barre class we don't use more than 5 pounds because it is a mind-body, muscular endurance class. We use those popular tunes you hear on the radio, NO techno remix, and let the music DRIVE the movement.

Yoga inspired, music driven stretching. HIGH Yo was created to help people fall in love with stretching and start including it into their routines on a more regular basis. This lighthearted format incorporates stretching, strength and balance to improve overall health, and show what a difference stretching can make in our lives and for our bodies. HIGH Yo was created to leave you feeling amazing, help you appreciate and take care of your body, help prevent injuries, and maintain overall good health.

Core Yoga allows for centering of mind and body with a focus on alignment and a strong foundation This class will also include gentle movement sequences, breath work, supported meditation, and guided relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness of the breath and body, and quieting of the nervous system.

Hey, I’m Renae! I grew up here in Othello, WA but just recently moved back with my husband and two children. I have a Bachelors Degree in Dance Education that definitely plays a big part in my love of group fitness. I started taking High Fitness classes 2 years ago and just had to become an instructor I loved it so much. I have been certified and teaching classes here for over a year. I just recently got certified to teach UpBeat Barre as well. I love group fitness because I have seen the benefits of regularly moving my body and having time to destress in a judgement free space and I want everyone here to have that same opportunity! I can’t wait for you to come try our classes!

Hey, I’m Selina! I love group fitness! I first started as a student in Prosser, WA, where I grew up, and fell in love with feeling accomplished during and after workouts. I saw how committing 1 hour to myself daily positively impacted other aspects of my life. I loved creating a support system of women who helped each other achieve their own personal goals. I fell in love with Zumba from the start and have been a certified Zumba instructor since 2010! I moved to Othello and brought Zumba to this town. Some of my students became instructors and are doing amazing things. It is a true testament to the magic it creates! I am now a mom of 4 beautiful boys and with my twins being 8 months, I am at the beginning of a new fitness journey. I know allowing Zumba to be a part of my daily and weekly routine will help me thrive physically, mentally and emotionally. I cannot wait to see and feel those changes! Hey, I’m Stacy! I attended my first High Fitness class in March of 2017 while living in Utah. While I’ve always enjoyed exercise and lifting weights, I had never been to a group fitness class before and I LOVED it. Working out had never been so fun! I certified to be an instructor in April 2020 and I’ve learned and grown so much since then. Last March, my family and I moved to Moses Lake (where I grew up), and I’m so grateful to be able to teach High Fitness here in Othello. I wholeheartedly believe that you can find joy in movement! No judgement. No shame. Just show up, move, and have fun!

Jana Withers

Hey, I’m Jana! I started doing yoga consistently about 10 years ago, because of back pain. Not only did yoga help with back pain relief and helped gain strength and flexibility; I also found it a great tool in dealing with stress, and daily life challenges. I was trained in Iyengar alignment based yoga. I completed my 200 hour training in 2018. I strongly believe yoga can be a benefit to anyone regardless of age or skill level. I have taught children, teenagers and adults, and my classes are safe for beginners. I love providing an opportunity to connect mind, body, and spirit!

Hey, I’m Liza! I grew up in Moses Lake, WA. I left home and went to school at Utah State University where I met and married my husband. We had two kids while living there, Cache and Wells. I earned a degree in Elementary Education and I use some of what I learned as I teach and own my own preschool. I started going to High Fitness when I moved back to Moses Lake in 2019 and haven’t looked back! I got certified in 2020 and still love it just as much. I also recently certified in Upbeat Barre as I try to find more and more fitness formats for everyone to fall in love with group fitness and exercise. Exercise helps me feel good, meet friends, and have time for me! I love it, I love it, I love it! And I want you to too!
